I needed glasses or contacts for so many years. I started wearing glasses when I was 11 years old and my vision had significantly deteriorated since then. Because of my poor vision, I couldn’t drive or do any of my favorite sports or activities without wearing glasses. I was annoyed by having to wear my glasses all of the time.
I opted to have the Lasik surgery after seeing how well it worked for some of my friends and family members. However, I went to different centers and did not feel comfortable at any of those places. After meeting the amazing doctor and nurses at my appointment at Novomed in Dubai, I decided to have them do the laser treatment. The doctor is pleasant, competent, and helpful and the staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The doctor did an excellent job of explaining the procedure, determining whether I was a good candidate for Lasik, and answering all of my questions. Everyone there made their best efforts to put me at ease before, during, and after the laser treatment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience.
The entire procedure was quick, simple, and painless. I was a little worried before and during the surgery, but once it was through, I realized there had been no reason to be concerned. The procedure was completed in a matter of minutes and the results have been incredible. I immediately noticed that I could see clearly without my glasses. My vision is now better than 20/20. I was back at work the next day, seeing better than I had before the surgery with my glasses. Aside from some little soreness in the days following the treatment, there have been no negative side effects. As my eyes continued to heal, my eyesight improved even more.
This experience has completely changed my life. I am overjoyed and I am grateful for the ability to see clearly. It’s incredible to not have to reach for my glasses in the morning and to work out without my glasses. I would strongly advise anyone seeking LASIK surgery in Dubai to go to Novomed. Not only did the eye doctor and his team put me at ease, but they also did a fantastic job of finding me a replacement for my glasses!
