Obverse and Reverse episode of March 3, 2022.
«I have been living in Italy in Milan for 4 years, my relatives are in Ukraine in the city of Donetsk , right now I can contact them, but the dramatic situation as in all of Ukraine, the problem is that now everyone cares about Ukraine and I am one of those people, that Donetsk area is forgotten. Because even now as they are bombing Kiev and other cities, in the same way they are bombing Donetsk. The problem of the people there, that is, those who want to leave, and I hope with all my heart that they manage to save themselves, all of Europe is open to them, Poland, Moldova, Italy and others, and I am doing everything possible to find a place for these people here in Italy. The problem with the people of Donetsk is that only Russia is open to them, because from all other parts they are surrounded and they cannot leave Ukraine to go to Europe. So the only choice they can to take to escape if something happens is to go to Russia , and that is certainly not a good thing! 2014, but I’m talking about many many years ago, because this wall was always growing between people let’s say pro-Russia and pro-Europe let’s say so. As a child, for example, after the Orange Revolution in 2004, I experienced moments of tension if you went from Donbass which is my city of Donetsk to Ukraine, it was as if they did not accept you because you were seen as a Russian, not by everyone however. because in all countries there are good and bad ones.
In 2009 when I was 14, after this President was chosen, I moved to Kiev, and in my school many boys would group and tell me go away hence because you are from the Donbass and therefore pro Russia! »
